SIIT, TACIS agree to accept MIT Institute and students into Certificate and Diploma courses on the provision of any of the following as evidence of their English Proficiency:
■ General English documentation as per the Upper Intermediate level requirements – an Assessment Report showing grades taken from the last module test, at least 70% overall for all skills for Certificate IV.
■ An IELTS Preparation or EAP Certificate with an overall Band Score equivalent to IELTS 5 for Certificate IV courses.
■ An IELTS Preparation or EAP Certificate with an overall Band Score equivalent to IELTS 5.5 for Diploma courses.
These requirements can be reviewed as needed, based on changes in either party’s programs, levels of attainment, and entry. MIT Institute students who have completed the agreed courses successfully will be deemed to have met the English language entry requirements of the SIIT and TACIS.
