Following government advice, MIT Institute will close our campus from Monday 23rd March to Sunday 29th March as a preventative measure against the COVID-19 virus.

Our top priority is the safety and wellbeing of our students. With the ongoing COVID-19 situation, MIT Institute has decided to take precautionary measures to protect the health of our students.
At this moment in time, MIT Institute will re-open on Monday 30th March unless the situation evolves.

All course end dates at MIT Institute have been pushed back one week from the original end date. All future holiday dates remain the same.
Students with an existing holiday period between Monday 23rd March to Friday 27th March will not be affected.
All current students will also be eligible to an extra week of study at the end of their course for no additional fee. Please contact our student services team for assistance or to double-check your enrolment details.

Student attendance will not be affected while we close our campus.
No. Student visa holders will still be required to make satisfactory progress in their students once class commences on 30th March 2020.
Students will be unable to attend the campus for a meeting with a counsellor in person during campus closure. Please email info@mitinstitute.nsw.edu.au to book a meeting after the campus re-opens.
Students do not need a medical certificate for the duration of campus closure. If feeling unwell, please seek medical advice and assistance at your nearest healthcare provider.
At this moment in time, our campus is only closed for one week. New students should come to MIT Institute on Monday 30th March for their placement test and orientation.
You will be informed if any changes are made to this schedule via email.
Your final certificate will be sent to your email. Please contact info@mitinstitute.nsw.edu.au if you have still not received your certificate.

Currently, the school is scheduled to re-open for face-to-face classes from Monday 30th March. We are monitoring the situation as it evolves, and students will be notified via email if further changes need to be made.
In the event of a transition to online learning, teachers are fully prepared to deliver courses at a high standard expected at MIT Institute.
Students will be able to change the start-date of their course free of charge. Please be aware of the current travel-restrictions enforced in Australia.
No fees will be charged during this period.
You may need to extend your student visa. Please seek qualified visa or migration advice from your agent to assist you with this process.
